This means we’re already there and in greater capacity than that.

Sounds like a reasonable way to support the ME whilst keeping mostly out of it.

Probably not a bad time to invest in missle manufacturing.

If there’s an extraterrestrial invasion we’re gonna be all outta ammo because we’re busy aiming at ourselves

Great we are providing financial aid to oil rich countries

    >Advanced medium-range air-to-air missiles would be provided to the UAE, following a phone call with President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, he added.

Are they seriously giving this shit for free?

  5. Australia has had military exchange with UAE since at least the early 2000s that I am aware of first hand. Some of their officers train here.

Not at all surprising that they have asked for help from us, and also not surprising that we said yes.

If the US is SMASHING Iran BIGLY, and have the capacity to hit them TWENTY times harder and the war, which has been a HUGE SUCCESS, is about to be over because Iran has been so BADLY defeated then why does Australia need to send assets over?

  7. Coming to the defensive aid of allies who ask us. Help shipping lanes, and get our people out of being stranded at airports? Good deal. We’ve got the right approach here, instead of james patterson opposition shadow minister ruling in an aggressive intervention, if the i/usa element escalates
