Is throwing gun at the drone official doctrine in the Russian army or something? Seen these way too often for them to be a last-ditch effort or panicked response.

Caught in completely open ground, on his own vs an FPV drone. Probably less than a 1% chance he was going to survive that encounter.
Even if he had managed to, another drone would already be in the sky.
Seems to be a number of videos of relatively well equipped Russians caught in the grey zone on their own. I wonder if these are scouts/infiltrators trying to slip by?
