Trump’s “regime change war” managed to install an even worse regime. It’s a spectacular failure so Trump needs more death on all sides.

Saying a War takes a dark turn seems a bit redundant. Isn’t going to war already a dark turn? Is there really a corner to turn that is darker, when we started off by bombing a school?

He needs to be removed from office.
I know this is likely to get me in trouble, so let me be clear, I’m not advocating anything, I’m predicting what might happen if things continue this way.
Trump has just removed two heads of state through military intervention. He has set a precedent that if a world leader presents a security risk to your country, you have the right to remove them–by arresting (Maduro) or assassinating (Khamenei) them. Trump’s war is now causing the economy of literally every country on earth to collapse and dramatically raising the costs of fuel, food, and thousands of other necessities. He is drawing the world into world war three.
So how long until a country (or even a billionaire) with the resources to do it takes action against him personally? Arrests him for war crimes or takes Putin’s favorite option. Especially knowing that his replacement, JD Vance, is opposed to this war.
Republicans need to develop a backbone and remove him from office through the 25th Amendment or impeachment before a foreign state or actor does it for them and triggers an escalation of the world war Trump started.

The only way the United States can come back to the good graces of the world is to throw open our doors to the international criminal courts and let them serve their warrants, arrest, and bring to trial whatever US government official they want.
No matter what the party affiliations may be and no matter who that person is or how high their position was/is.
They want Trump? Take him. They want Bush? Take him. They want The Clintons? Take them. They want Obama? Take him. And anyone else down the line.
If they are following international law and following all international rules and regulations on going about this: let them.
It’s the only way the US will be trusted again for a very long time.

The trouble for Trump and everyone, really, is that the Iranian regime is *stronger* now than just two weeks ago: They now control the entirety of the world’s traffic through the Strait of Hormuz which they didn’t before. They probably have also become *more* radical now, not less.
Through Trump’s genius actions, Iran also makes more money on oil now than before as well as Russia.
As usual: Trump can only think one step ahead and is strategically a disaster. Similar to W., let’s be fair. All these whacko conservatives who go by their “feelings”. Both Trump and W. have alluded to following their “feelings” when it comes to war.

Trump is the most powerful and unaccountable person alive. All the governmental checks that exist to constrain his power have been rendered inert by partisanship and desire to keep the GOP in power. The mainstream media has been neutered or tainted, so people don’t really know what to believe or what is true. Elections are the only mechanism of control left, and they’re so broken by the Electoral college that indirect confrontation is the closest the general population can get to controlling the White House (through Congress). Trump won’t be impeached or 25th-ed, we’re in this for the long haul. Frankly I assume at some point Trump will lose patience and use a nuclear warhead; I’d like to think *that* would wake up the GOP but we all know they would be justifying a few days after they state they’re “very concerned”.
