Schumer is a big part of why the Democrats suck so much. We should be into our 3rd straight Democrat President, but instead we’ve got such piss poor Democratic party leaders like Schumer that can’t get anything done.

    Please replace him

He needs to go. He’s in AIPAC’s pocket and continues to shirk his responsibilities as a leader of the party.

Schumer’s top 3 priorities, no joke:
    * Israel
    * His imaginary MAGA friends he hallucinates about.
    * Avoiding conflict at any cost.

He’s literally only in charge because the Democratic party leadership has devolved into a queue, and he just happened to be standing in line the longest. The Democratic party needs a massive shake up – get rid of Schumer and the next centenarian whose only qualification is that its their turn is going to take over.

They themselves voted for him to be in that position. And they have the power to kick his worthless butt out and vote someone else minority leader. This isn’t rocket science that requires a deft hand on their part. All they need is a simple 20% of the minority party to call for a vote to remove the minority leader. And a simple majority to remove him/her and vote in a new one. That’s it.

    But they’re not going to.

He’s too connected to the elements that are destroying the country.

His kids work at big tech, he puts US service members in harms way on behalf of Israel. Big tech and big finance are his biggest donors.

That they have not yet done so says nothing good about the current party membership. There’s no national coordination on the Democrats side to do ANYTHING right now. That’s why Trump is running like an unstoppable fatberg all over the country.

Don’t pull a Biden-Harris switcharoo (waiting until it’s too late). Get him out now: him and Jeffries.

  8. This man needs to be gone 2 years ago. And after he’s gone, age limits on all these geriatric politicians.

  9. The man is a repeat failure. He’s gotten nothing done and capitulates far too often. If trump is a taco than shumer is one too.

  10. The reality of the current democratic leadership is that they are too focused on pretending like they want to oppose the threat to democracy all so they can continue to be in a position of “power”. Maybe they believe in a system of government that no longer exists or doesn’t exist right now. Either way they’re wholly incapable of stepping up. Their entire existence has been to allow things to go to shit hoping the failures mount and resonate with voters. I hate to say it but there is no bottom to that calculation. There are far far too many people who are just simply not paying attention and somehow (ironically given the wealth gap) we’re a fortunate enough country where it takes quite a lot of economic pain to move the needle.

Maybe $4/gallon on average gas will do it? But even then I know so many Trump supporters who will never drop it. It’s sad.

Chuck needs to step aside for the good of us all. He’s not up to the task and has failed to meet the moment.

The way to get him to step aside is to choose a different leader.

This a no brainer and the fact he hasn’t stepped down already is enough cause alone that he should be removed. It is a clear and obvious fact that the party needs to rebrand and easiest way to do it is to replace the leadership. Clear as day.

  13. OnwardTowardTheNorth on

It’s not just Schumer. It’s his lieutenants too.

The establishment has completely failed to meet to the moment. They have failed to demonstrate a strong opposition (even as a minority party) and have failed to demonstrate the kind of modern political thinking to show the value they offer.

Being “not Trump” is no longer enough. You have to be more than what you stand against.

  14. Constant_Flamingo828 on

YES! Please get rid of his geriatric ass. He’s so weak and out of touch. The entire Democratic senior leadership needs to go. New blood.

  15. the only thing cuck schumer negotiated are things GOP agreed to but never followed through

  16. A minority leader is only effective if they can do one of two things:

    – they have the fortitude to stand so firm against the opposition, that the opposition can’t succeed without making concessions, or

    – they have to have so much bipartisan influence that they are able to negotiate desired concessions.

Schumer and Jeffries are neither, and that’s a huge problem.

  17. HellovahBottomCarter on

    Get. Rid. Of. Him.
I’m going to be doing my part. I live in NY and will be voting against him in the primaries.

Schumer is the weakest link. He has to go. I don’t care how much Israel wants to keep him around

  19. Status-Air926 on

Schumer is unfortunately a relic of the 1990s and is no longer ideologically relevant. He absolutely should be replaced.

  20. Inevitable-Dig8702 on

Nope. Schumer is “by design”. Same as Jeffries. Not a bug but a feature. The donor class see the unrest so they will at best find another stooge who has not pissed off the base YET and ride the clock with perfomative actions and wait until their base chills and goes complacent again before working against them.

The biggest tell is that the right will attack a progressive 100x times over and not say a damn thing about these milquetoast mofos.

Controlled opposition is the problem, not old fucks in charge. Th only real solution is to marginalize the donor class and consultants pulling the strings and that takes a Tea Party-esque revolt that shuts out the status quo.
