If you watch a lot of Russian dash cam car crash videos, you’ll see that it’s so common it’s almost a trope that there can be a brutal crash that almost kills pedestrians… and they’ll run when they’re in immediate danger, but as soon as the hurtling car wreck has passed by, they just turn around and casually keep walking as though nothing happened. I’ve seen it too many times to be anything other than a fairly standard response.

Not to get all Sherlock Holmes about the gait of an old man but he might be absolutely bricking it and that’s just as fast as he can go now. He does seem to quicken his step slightly, but the way he moves puts me to mind of my old dad before he got his hip replaced.
Still after seeing that poor woman in Tehran’s footage from this morning I’m kind of glad this clip didn’t have a different ending. That’s a not insubstantial amount of explosives just fell next to this guy and it could have gone very different.

This has an AI Vibe to it? Explosion looks a little odd, debris seemingly dissapears into the ground, car alarms are ringing even before the drone hits the ground and the old guy seems way to unbothered. Might be mistaken, but pretty sure.

I’m pro-Ukraine but this is one of clear examples why Russia is hard to beat. There are tons of people (soldiers included) who are “built different” than Western Europeans. They tolerate tons and tons of s**t. Just look at the environment too. Betting on Russia losing because people get tired of war or high prices is a losing bet. Russians can and will endure worse.
Only solution is for the West to flood Ukraine with cheap shells and drones so Russian causalities on frontlines become actually catastrophic. There are millions like the guy in the video who Putin can send to Ukraine to finish the job.
