>Twenty-six per cent said a change would make them more likely to vote Labor compared with 10% for less likely.
So 64% would be neutral to a change? Would suggest that Allan isn’t necessarily the cause of the bad brand image at the moment.

>…conducted Thursday to Monday from a sample of 1062, showing the Coalition on 30%, up three on the last such poll a month ago; Labor on 27%, down one; One Nation on 20%, down three; and the Greens on 14%, up one.
It shows you how popular Labor are that even lashed to Jacinta Allen they can still poll as the second most popular party.

Think they will axe Jacinta soon. Problem is who would take over.

Freshwater Strategy polling also had the coalition winning the last election, Dutton as popular and nuclear power as a widely supported policy

Labor must have really shit the bed in Victoria if the Libs are more popular

I’d actually say the Coalition should be ahead further but Victoria is similar to Tasmania that it is held with the confidence of the people and that can be quickly withdrawn so perhaps it is a good result. I expect them to win this election barring any major incident

Actually keen to see this (as non Victorian). Aussies need to be reminded how fking dumb LNP governments are.

The ALP are still favourites from the betting odds to be elected :
The implied probabilities is ~61% for the ALP to win.

4 years of LNP governance in 28 and there’s people here suggesting we need a one term reminder of how shit the LNP are. No we don’t. We need Labor to prove they can govern a broke economy rather than hand balling it off to some poor sucker.
Plus the only infrastructure project of note we can currently (kind of) afford if Albo chops us out is underway. That’s Dans idea and Jacinta’s baby, she shouldn’t be allowed to leave let alone be voted out.
Please, please, please just one more term. You know you can do it Melbourne.

Will be a nice opportunity for the ALP rusted ons to blame the Greens at least
