If your whole goal in politics is to defeat Labor and not represent your constituents, you are there for the wrong reasons.

This is exactly what they should do. Why not? It could actually be okay. The lower house gets a pot pourri of conservative parties that HAVE to work together to maintain government.
No point cannibalising each other to be permanent opposition.

Imagine you are a farmer.
You have two working dogs to train.
One is red, and one is blue.
If the red one does something wrong, physical punishment. If it does the right thing, physical punishment. If it does nothing, physical punishment.
If the blue one does something wrong, it gets treats. If it does the right thing, more treats. If it does nothing, even more treats.
Congratulations, the farmer now has two psychotic dogs. Useless.
Ok. The farmer now, concluding that the dogs are useless, decides to buy an elderly female orange dog which has been barking for years, and not done anything useful in its life.
Well, Farmer Joe, I wonder how that’s orange chihuahua going to turn out for you?

If Pauline & LNP work together it will be mean no change to taxing our gas properly for Australians.
I will cry if we keep giving Australia’s gas away free to foreigners.

Pauline riding around on Gina Rinehart’s plane. Obviously she’s going to what’s best for the little Australians 🇦🇺😖

One nation can’t even work amongst themselves let alone with others. It is hilarious how quickly newly elected one nation folks jump ship after being elected.

The same pie, only cut into several more pieces and one whole chunk is rotting and diseased and may have to have its members resign every few months.
quite a stable strategy, if you want 10 years of Labor.

It’s an awkward situation.
ON are going to procure many seats in the Senate, almost certainly wiping out the National Senators. However, Liberal preferences in the HOR could be the difference between ON picking up a ton of seats or falling short to the ALP & Independents.
Does the Coalition want to work with ON, or sacrifice an election cycle to wait out Hanson, who will be 77 years old at the 2031 Federal Election.

It’s easier to be the hunter than the hunted, just look at what happened to the Australian Democrats in 2004, and The Greens in the House in 2025. One Nation still has to prove it can outlive Pauline Hansen herself.
The trick for Angus Taylor though is simple: stop trying to win, and start trying to gain.

She also wants to work with Trump, a pedophile.
Perhaps hoping some of the money he is stealing from America falls her way? Gina might need a bigger plane.
