I’d like to point out that a lot of these flips are in ‘Red’ areas, and are being won by insanely thin margins.
That means 2 things:
1. we still need to vote! Don’t think that just because a dem won a (formerly) red county by 4 votes that your lifelong blue county can’t flip by 4 votes! Vote yourself, get your friends and family to vote, and get them to get THEIR friends and family to vote. That is how you energize and mobilize, locally, not by having Beyoncé or Taylor swift tell people at concerts.
2. Places that have been considered ‘solid’ Red or Blue are ALWAYS up for grabs. Any county, any city, any state. We know there are tens of millions of people not voting, and on a local level it often wouldn’t take much to flip these places. Don’t lose hope or get bogged down.
