  1. This administration floods the zeitgeist with so much inanity; this shameful episode will be forgotten by 10pm EST.

Of course EVERYTHING Trump is doing or not doing is pissing me off!!

    Snippet:

    * President Donald Trump welcomed hundreds of farmers to the White House on Friday, in what the administration touted as a celebration of agriculture and American farm producers. On the South Lawn, **decorated** with a massive, obviously **Trump-inspired gold tractor**, the president hailed the event as the “single largest gathering of American farmers that the White House has ever seen.”
    * Noticeably missing from the crowd of farmers at the White House were the nation’s Black farmers, who have been repeatedly shut out of meetings and dialogue with the Trump administration, which has simultaneously eliminated several programs intended to address decades-long disparities impacting marginalized farmers at a time when many are facing foreclosures amid continued high costs in farm production, mortgages, and property taxes.

    >**“I certainly asked to be a part of it,” says John Boyd**, founder and president of the National Black Farmers Association, which represents tens of thousands of Black farmers.

    * *The longtime activist and farmer, who has repeatedly tried to advocate on behalf of Black farmers with the Department of Agriculture and the White House, tells theGrio he has heard “nothing from this administration.”*
    * “For them not to invite us, they’re really saying, ‘We don’t want you to be a part of this administration at all,’” says Boyd, who told theGrio that a White House official had previously told him that the administration was “doing away” with farmers of color and DEI. The official told Boyd that farmers being prioritized “happen to be white,” emphasizing, “This is not about race.”
    * *Upon learning about the farmers’ event, Boyd reached out to a Trump official at the White House Office of Public Liaison; however, Boyd’s inquiry to join the event went unanswered. A spokesperson for the White House did not immediately respond to theGrio’s request for comment.*

The trump administration should rename the *White House* to the *For Whites House.*

‘Why can’t we be at the table?’

Because he’s a racist like the rest of the GOP.

  6. Considering responses made to black farmers or any farmer not white, this little bit should answer any doubts you have about where Hitler IIIs mind set is at, ‘The official told Boyd that farmers being prioritized “happen to be white,” emphasizing, “This is not about race.”’. That statement in any language is bs.

I mean, what did you think they meant when they insisted anything DEI had to be banned? They don’t want anyone but straight, white Christian men there. Any if the rest of us having any success or appearing in public is DEI to them.

I hope this is what you voted for. If not, then I feel bad that you are dealing with this obvious racism.

I believe on Sept 2024 before the election his Heritage based administration was delighted about bringing back the Original Constitution. The one for White Land Owning Men only. But no racism here. We are all delusional and they would never…

  10. Empowering black farmers would empower whole communities, can’t have folks thinking that there are other routes to prosperity.

  11. They really shouldn’t even have to ask why… he’s literally been like this …forever. Maybe now they’ll believe it.

  12. > “Why can’t we be at the table?”

Because you’re black and the tyrant is a racist.

The shutting out of the black farmers and the recent denial of promotions of the black officers with the report that trump doesn’t want to be next to black officers is further evidence that trump and his administration are racist. Of course this will be denied by his sycophants who themselves are racist POS!

  14. Hey look, I know my conservative friends get upset when I call them bigots, but… well…

Because the administration is led by white supremacists, I thought this was known already

Black farmers were again shut out of meetings and dialogue with the Trump administration and several programs were eliminated which were intended to address decades-long disparities impacting marginalized farmers at a time when many are facing foreclosures amid continued high costs in farm production, mortgages, and property taxes.

The message is that farmers being prioritized “happen to be white”.  John Boyd, founder and president of the National Black Farmers Association which represents tens of thousands of Black farmers, told theGrio that a White House official had previously told him that the administration was “doing away” with farmers of color and DEI.

    Sounds racist to me.

I have heard John Boyd interviewed many times and his work on behalf of Black farmers is so admirable. It just makes me sick that this Administration is so undeniably racist. Policies of injustice will continue until they are kicked out.
