If only there was an agreement that would have prevented Iran from enriching weapons grade uranium. Maybe a group that would periodically inspect their nuclear sites to ensure compliance with the agreement. Maybe an agreement that carried benefits for compliance and stuff penalties for violations.
A deal like that would be quite impressive and a huge benefit to all parties involved. It’s really too bad we can find the common ground needed to reach an agreement like this. Having something like that would avoid so many of today’s troubles.

Any operation like this would require hundreds of personal, traveling in helicopters or Osprey, over enemy territory, to a fixed and known location, that the enemy has had plenty of time to fortify. Not even to just attack it, but to land and capture/hold the ground, extract hundreds of kg of highly volatile material, then collapse back to your transport aircraft and fly back again. Through enemy fire, with radioactive material onboard.
It’s a completely stupid idea for any number of reasons. Which, of course, is why Donald is considering it.
