Has anyone heard anything from Jagmeet since he dipped out?
Lewis and Singh are not at all from the same faction within the NDP, and he’s critical of Singh’s biggest decision as leader here, but Lewis is going to work with everyone who is still on the team, that definitely doesn’t apply to Mulcair who has been actively trying to sabotage the party for years.

Singh was actually a very effective politician. The paralells between him and Carney are kind of interesring. I didn’t agree with most of his ideas or actions but he grabbed Canadian politics by the fruits for a few years and that’s nothing to sneeze at. I think in that regard Lewis could learn a lot. People like to say that Lewis doesn’t know how to win, so maybe singh could help. Even tho I personally think thats a ridiculous concept given he just won a leadership race and also saying you can’t vote for someone because they can’t win makes absolutely no sense

Hopefully Avi leaves his campaign team behind. The same people were behind Ryan Meili’s leadership race and were totally outplayed by the party establishment that they spent the following 3 years trying to cuddle while his base was shut out. I hope we don’t see a repeat

By Jagmeet Singh you must mean former NDP leader Jagmeet Singh, the most successful NDP leader since Tommy Douglas in terms of the number of progressive policies passed, and not that bizarre crypto-racist caricature certain politicians and their supporters constantly attacked.
