A friend of mine was on an Apache crew back in the W years. It was like 40k just to get one of these off the tarmac then – let alone joyriding to kid rocks house. Can only imagine how much this costs now.

I just assumed it was planned as some kind of propaganda stunt. For I don’t know, maybe a draft (as a guess). But army officials not knowing how it happened is pretty fucking bad.
Well, here is how they end up there: As you go higher people are feeling more and more enabled. There is no accountability anymore and people in the highest positions are doing whatever TF they want with no consequences at all. So that’s how you get Apache helicopters at a musician’s house.
