Trump says Strait of Hormuz is the world’s problem: ‘Go get your own oil!’ Trump had a message Tuesday for US allies: You’re on your own. “You’ll have to start learning how to fight for yourself, the USA won’t be there to help you anymore, just like you weren’t there for us.”

  1. Someone should tell Pedo grandpa that the Strait was open before he went in like a moron.

Also, sure…let us pay for oil in euro or yuan, we are cool with that and we can get a deal asap with Iran.
Let’s see how he likes that.

  2. A problem that Trump deliberately brought about. He’s trying to get the U.S. out of NATO. Because Vladimir Putin desperately needs it.

  3. Trump: “Solve it yourself.”

World: *Pays Iran billions for safe passage*

    Trump: “Not like that!”

So the orange buffoon starts the war, then wants others to clean up his mess. Bearing in mind he did this for his own personal financial gain, like everything he does, you have to give him credit at least for convincing the inbreds to still support him.

  5. NATO is a defensive alliance. But apparently Trump still thinks it is an ‘whatever I say goes’-alliance.

Trump is that one ‘friend’ stirring up a fight and now complaining that his friends, who he’s been calling weak losers just weeks ago, are not very inclined to join.

  6. Sounds like the behavior I heard at my job today. I work at an Elementary school!

  7. The “go get your own oil” line would be funny if it weren’t so catastrophically stupid. The US started this conflict, closed the strait, and is now telling everyone else to deal with the consequences.

But here’s the part nobody is talking about: even if a ceasefire happens tomorrow, the strait doesn’t just “reopen.” You need weeks of mine-clearing operations. You need Lloyd’s and the other marine insurers to reassess war-risk premiums and start underwriting passage again. You need port infrastructure in the Gulf states to come back online. You need commercial shippers to rebuild confidence that they won’t eat a cruise missile.

The realistic timeline for full normalization of Hormuz traffic after hostilities end is 2-4 months minimum. Japan and South Korea have roughly 30-40 days of strategic petroleum reserves at current consumption rates. The JP Morgan analysis showing Asia gets hit first in early April and Europe by mid-April is spot on, and those timelines assume things don’t get worse.

The countries most damaged by this aren’t Iran or the US. They’re the UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain, whose desalination plants and power generation depend on gas transiting the strait. Their populations literally cannot drink water without Hormuz being open. That’s the humanitarian crisis nobody is covering.

“We invaded a sovereign nation without provocation because Israel paid us to. Why didn’t you help?”

  10. I’m wondering if the U.S. will have any allies left after Trump. He’s single-handedly destroyed our friendships, as well as insulted and threatened every one of our trading partners.

In regards to his war with Iran, Trump is acting like he threw a party and nobody came. His fragile ego is hurt. Perhaps he should have consulted with our allies BEFORE he started an unnecessary war in the Middle East.

  11. Say that to Israel. Europe are our allies. Israel not so much, they act like a parasitic mooch that spies on us and controls large numbers of politicians.

  12. well done USA , you elected a mentally unstable bully and egomaniac as your leader and the rest of the world has to suffer for it .

The rest of the world hates you.

  13. The fall of America took one year. Imagine if he had surrounded himself with Yes Men in 2916 we could have just gotten this all over with the first time around. Russia wins the long game as I don’t see the US not balkanizing after all this. The divide is too wide.

For Iran to deliver the ultimate humiliation they could open the straits to al EU bound vessels

  15. I mean….they are?

France, Germany, italy, Japan, India, China and more are going and getting their own oil by paying the toll…

GCC (Saudi Arabia and other Arabian countries) will revenge by trading in other currencies, choking the petrodollar and destroying the value of the dollar, which will raise interest rates and inflation.

In addition, U.S. refineries are optimized for a blend of heavy, sour crude and light, sweet crude, and the Middle East is the primary source for cheap heavy, sour crude. Expect gas prices to stay high.

Is he even aware that NATO is a defensive organisation? It’s not there to support Zionist expansion.

As an American we deserve everything we get for this, BUT don’t forget to include Israel in this as well. You should have sanctioned them over Palestine but maybe you’ll actually care now that it’s effecting you….
