  1. “Did you see how I didn’t destroy an entire civilization like I said I would!? I’m the world’s greatest peacemaker!”

And, as Trump likes to say on Easter, “Praise be to Allah!”

  2. They’re right of course, but that would require a few republicans to grow souls and spines.

This impeachment thing is so frustrating he had his stubby finger hovering over the launch button yesterday and everyone was saying “hurry hurry file to impeach him.” He never follows the rules. We impeached him before. He doesn’t care. It’s like people complaining that hitler should have been impeached.

  4. The shift from “Trump is going to drop nukes and kill 90 million people” to “Trump completely gave in by accepting a ceasefire” over just a few hours is really something.

He sends the world in a panic for no reason. I don’t understand how any politician can look at a president publicly saying “An entire civilization will die tonight” and not immediately move to remove him from office.

Question for people, if Trump is becoming unpopular enough that getting rid of him is plausible, why do it before midterms?

IMO, there are people in Trumps donor class who ultimately want to replace Trump with Vance because Vance is more competent and aligned. I personally don’t want to see that happen. Or if it does it should be a GOP lead effort.

To be clear the dems should be OK with dumping Trump if the GOP wants. But the focus needs to be on:

Managing and integrating cutting edge knowledge and technology so that it works towards supporting a comfortable lifestyle for everyday Americans instead of increasing the wealth and resources extraction from the people to the hoarders.

That mission is best served aggressively pursing policy that reenergizes and remakes our economy. Not wasting political capital on something that should take no political capital.

The message should be, “Trump needs to go, given his entanglements, he probably should not have been elected*, but the GOP wants him for their own nefarious reasons and will protect him. So we will focus on how to make the economy work for all of us. When the GOP is ready do their job, he will be gone. But no one should hold their breath. And should prepare to engage in more political action if you want a different vision for the country ”

    * do we want to win or brag? Let’s build off ramps not barriers

  7. Even more since now IRAN is better off than before, exactly why did he gain for America. Not for him his sons and his bum chums ?

  8. AMCorBUST2021 on

Focusing on Trump is not good strategy. Beat him at the mid-terms.

But we really need to hear from Sec Hegseth in a public hearing exactly what just happened. Bondi style.

  9. Bishopjones2112 on

Absolutely, this needs to keep going. 25th push is unlikely because it needs Vance, and he has less balls than a neutered dog. The impeach option is the best bet and even that seems to jot be a guarantee with the number of MAGA supports in the senate

  10. What was even the point of this whole thing? There was no legitimate pretext for an invasion, and Iran is in the strongest position they’ve ever been in. Truly a failure of unprecedented proportions.

  11. breakevencloud on

Let me just check that I haven’t missed anything:

Donald Dumbass managed to start a war with Iran, make them look like the good guys, get the Strait that was already opened before we bombed Iran to be back open, only now Iran gets to control the Strait and treat it like a tollbooth, should they choose?

    Is that correct?

  12. HellovahBottomCarter on

    Correct.

Even from a ceasefire perspective we got literally zero of our objectives and now Iran gets to charge tolls for using the strait.

  13. forthewatch39 on

Especially when we got NOTHING from this. Lives were lost, billions wasted, prices skyrocketed and now the Iranians are charging 2m per ship to go through the strait. We’d be better off if we had done nothing to begin with.

  14. Trump: We want a ceasefire from the conflict we started with you.

    Iran: No.

Trump: then we’re gonna wipe you off the face of the earth.

Iran: No, you’re not. If you want a ceasefire we want all of these ten things that will make us the superpower of the Middle East.

    Trump: deal.

Fox News: Trump is a mastermind at negotiations. Here’s why this is bad for dems.

  15. So here’s the thing, *threatening* genocide is still not ok.

Try it at the small scale, is threatening to murder someone ok? No, no it’s not.

Er go, threatening to wipe out an entire country is also, not ok.

  16. Thank you government for JUST NOW realizing this man is unfit to be president. If only you had realized this, oh I don’t know, his first term?

  17. AdSevere1274 on

Destruction of civilization was a signal to their bodies to buy the dip.. the stronger the wording, the better the dip. To be continued..

  18. Eggheadpancake on

Our democracy needs a huge overall. The constitution needs to be burned and rewritten

  19. Schumer doesn’t.

He is licking his chops at the thought of Israeli atrocities against civilians. Sick, twisted bastard that he is.

America shot itself in the foot by not empowering Sanders. They should just make AOC queen, but American society is not ready for a female leader.
