Just curious as to when did tobacco companies start printing this on their tailor-mades if anyone knows, please? I used to smoke rollies for years before loose tobacco became too expensive, so I never realised tailors had this printed on them until now.

Makes me want to take up smoking again to see what all the little messages are /s
Are these warnings or rock band names?
Fortune ciggies
It became mandatory on the first of July 2025.
Since July.
They also banned menthol and capsule ciggs.
I love how gov regulations keep makeing cigs more appealing
Start of this financial year.
Ciggies should be illegal, marijuana should be legal
No one knows. Everyone is buying the black market ciggies for $17 a pack
Since the government made them
Maybe “Cigi butt brain” would be more appropriate
About a year ago when tobacco laws changed. Same time as they standardised packs to 20 and banned flavourings.
These cigs would have gone hard on OG Tumblr.
I’m sure the three remaining Australian smokers that still don’t buy black market cigarettes will appreciate the warning.
Pretty sure it was July 31st, 2025.
At the last possible moment before the government started to fine them.
Amazing punk rock band name
Why are you buying those? get the $15-$20 packets now in every suburb of Australia.
You must be the only person in Australia buying non counterfeit cigarettes.
A Federal Member opined that shutting Tobacco stores was a real option. Just get your ciggies from IGA and co only. Not a bad idea
need to see that on coke/pepsi bottles as well
VP104 I hope, good old winfields
Look at the rich person flexing the legal cigarette
April last year.
•Banning all smoke sizes except 20’s and 30gram pouches
•All special filters so any Menthol, cool pop and crush cigarettes are banned
•Banned the label of Red,blue, gold for distinguishing smoke strength
•Additional warning in packets and on cigarettes
They also banned deals between smoke companies and dealers removing incentives on trade deals,
many smoke companies had to do many layoffs and Bata stopped operating in Australia
