Trump could face fresh embarrassment at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner later this month, as he will be in attendance to see the Wall Street Journal receive the White House Correspondents’ Association Katherine Graham Award for Courage and Accountability for its July 2025 story about Trump sending a “bawdy” birthday card doodle to Jeffery Epstein.
The announcement of the WSJ receiving the award came on the same day that a federal judge dismissed Trump’s $10 billion lawsuit against the newspaper for that exact story.
“May everyday be another wonderful secret,” read Trump’s card to Epstein, bearing Trump’s signature beneath an outline of a naked woman’s torso.

Watching his ego completely shatter in real time while they read out his ties to epstein on national television is going to be absolute cinema tbh. he is going to be fuming.
Like most extraordinary promises about Trump, I won’t believe it until I see it. But if they can get him to do the speech, I will be so happy. The President’s Speech at the WHCD is generally my favorite Presidential speech.
Will they be live streaming this? Will there be a split screen with the announcement on stage and a closeup of his face?
