Folks, the next step is a remedies phase. The judge can order a variety of things, including that Live Nation and Ticketmaster be broken up.
But the verdict includes $1.72 in damages per ticket, which will be trebled by law. Consumers won’t get all of that, but it won’t be nothing. There is also a separate class action that will fill the gaps here (not every state asked for damages, for example).
This is the same case that DOJ settled a few weeks ago. Most of the state AGs didn’t settle, and they just won.

My mom got me a large gift card to ticket master. We live an hour train ride from nyc and she wanted me and a friend to pick a show.
None of the shows I wanted to go see was applicable. About 8 different choices.. then I began to spot check converts around the country. Also not applicable.
Ticketmaster hasn’t gotten back to me and I’ve contacted them several times.
It’s a horrible company
