Three times Iran has made a deal – Three times Trump has not honored it. What would you do?

    Hey GOP and MAGA,

Ironically, Trump is the unstable, hormonal, over-whelmed and screechy bimbo that you fearmonger about when a female deigns to run for president.

Who do you want answering the phone in the middle of the night? NOT this erratic bimbo.

trump has reduced US foreign relations – war itself – to playground politics of toddlers.

iran has revealed the playground bully to be nothing more than a sniveling insecure coward.

and now iran is more influential then it has ever been, exposed the achilles heel of the US, and now effectively controls a significant portion of world trade.

  4. The Iranian regime can get completely fucked. Also, I can’t blame them for this sentiment.

I don’t blame Iran. Also, the US is sending the most unqualified and unserious people to negotiate. Clueless.

  6. >*IRNA added that negotiators decided not to return because of “Washington’s excessive demands, unrealistic expectations, constant shifts in stance, repeated contradictions, and the ongoing naval blockade.”*

Since three ignoramuses are running this incompetent US show, this is what’s to be expected.

The Iranian regime is unquestionably evil but that is eclipsed by how horrifying Trump is and the people who are allowing him freedom to be this crazy.

It’s such a wacky and absurd time we are living in where fucking IRAN, of all nations, is sounding the more reasonable one in this conversation.

  9. The Iranian side is correct.

It’s been a stream of false announcements, either through impulsive ignorance or market manipulation

  10. It’s funny, these threats always come when Trump is conceding or chickening out.

This time, he sends a negotiating team to Islamabad, hoping the Iranians reciprocate… and he threatens to blow up everything.

Previous time, he extended this own deadline to open the straight… or their civilization would end

    Etc, etc

My theory is that the TACO jokes really got to him. Everytime he paints himself into a corner (which happens a lot), and has to chicken out, some ridiculous threat should save his face.

Funny thing is that the very threat usually gets him in trouble a few days later.

Not sure where this pattern is heading, and if I will still find it funny.

  11. This war is not ending any time soon. While it’s possible it could eventually become a “cold” war, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s still going on 4-5 years from now.

What this means of course is get ready for higher gas prices more permanently.

Iran and the majority of Americans (and the world) actually agree here. And they might be the only group that can tame him.

  13. Raspberries-Are-Evil on

They should not. They should come right out and say to the American People directly, “Trump is not trustworthy and we will not negotiate anything until he is no longer President.”

  14. I don’t get why the blockade was still in place if the strait was open. Like at all

Who can blame them? Trump, and everyone in his whole administration are liars. Straight up lying 24/7.

Incredible that Trump has somehow managed to turn the totalitarian theocrats into the sympathetic party in this conflict.

  17. buffalotrace on

Trump looks at all relationships as power imbalances and a games of chicken. Countries want a stable partner they can trust, not one who is willing change the terms anytime they get in their feelings, watch a bad news segment, or read something online.

Iran holds all of the cards and has still come to the table to get a deal done before the conflict began and all the way through it. Meanwhile, the top 2 diplomats who are supposed to represent the most powerful nation in the world went to a literal cage fight during the last round of talks.

  19. Intro-Nimbus on

While I hope for an actual truce and actual negotiations, I have to confess, that since Trump seems to change his mind every hour, I don’t know how anyone could make a deal with him at this point.

Iran is the most rational actor in this three way dance with the United States and Israel

  21. Basic_Yam_715 on

Iran should ask to treat with Kamala Harris or Obama. That would probably, in itself, cause Trump to stroke out.
