Carney is correct and the rest of the world needs to follow his lead. The US is a rogue nation with a despicable regime, and we haven’t even bottomed out yet. I’m 59, and I’m convinced the US won’t recover in my lifetime.

If your biggest trading partner suddenly becomes erratic and/or hostile, diversifying is the most rational thing to do in response.

It’s unfortunately true. Trump and his admin have damaged America reputation and broken trust.
Iran war is a perfect example, in the past most used to trust what the US says but no, I feel like most question their honesty as much as they do the IRGC.

I think the biggest surprise is just how easily the American people have been dominated .All the bluster of “free, brave, democracy etc” and they’ve just collectively bent over and let a group of the most deplorable people you could imagine fuck them repeatedly. It’s astonishing.
Unfortunately Trump is the symptom, not the problem. He’s there because the American people put him there, twice! That’s telling.
