  1. I think it makes sense that people are having a hard time finding employment at restaurants when less people are going to them.

Not to be that guy, but she has 6 yrs experience in kitchens at 20 and is complaining. I get the job market is hard. It always seems to be terrible for young people; it was terrible when I was young.

Is it just me or have younger folks got no patience and seem to want it all right now? I get things are expensive and I don’t want to sound insensitive, but we all start at the bottom and have to climb the ladder.

I’ll go back to my retirement home now and stop thinking…

Why is it whenever I make a non racist comment on this subreddit about things like this topic, someone always makes it racist as a reply and my posts get removed?

Our youth are struggling and this is about them, not political or individual opinions about anything else.

Sigh. I expect this to be removed now too. Or I need a new phone.

  4. RANS sucks the same way that restaurants Canada sucks. Lobby group for the capital class.

Escaping the hole of working in restaurants/food service is so tremendously difficult. It took me until I was almost 40 to do. Underpaid, over stressed, over worked. I feel for the youth.

It’s tough in the maritimes. In some provinces investors have hoarded half of all homes, driving up cost of living at the same time.
