“Palantir” was never really wearing the mask. The name is from the artifacts that the Dark Lord Sauron used to spy on his enemies. This was not a coincidence, that was exactly the vibe Peter Thiel was going for.
That has been the entire company from the beginning. Collect data on “Enemies”, turn it over to whatever government is willing to pay for it.

Next Dem budget = Palantir to $0.

> It was a choice to double down on ideological signaling, presumably because Karp and company have calculated that visible loyalty gets rewarded in the current environment.
I don’t think it’s that. I think it’s because Karp is a true believer and thinks he’s a genius who is so way beyond any of his critics in the brainiac department that he’s untouchable.
Apparently, he’s committed at least one Oswald Mosley speech to memory. And I suspect he’s memorised a few more choice speeches.

Again I wonder why the UK allowed Palantir to gain public contracts. It’s like inviting the KGB/FSB to service the UK government’s servers.

It is all a distraction from the fact they are vaporware, and their test run in Iran has produced terrible results they are desperately trying to spin as being anything other than a massive failure.

What did anyone expect them to be besides fascist?

Once we have a sane government, we should make whatever changes are needed to ensure Palantir is shut down, its technologies destroyed, and Alex Karp packed off to federal prison.

You mean to tell me the forces of Mordor *weren’t the good guys*?
Then again Thiel and his ilk are apparently fans of that unofficial LotR spinoff written from the perspective of the forces of Mordor, so they probably unironically think that Sauron should have been allowed to conquer middle earth. Probably also thinks Eowyn was being uppity and unreasonable when she slayed the Witch-King of Angmar.

Orbans loss, was big for Thiel. he’s invested billions on right wing projects worldwide but Hungary was pet project, and Honduras is in trouble, Argentina is falling apart, don’t even get me started on what they are doing the USA. These guys are terrible in every way. They have to be stopped at all costs.

The only reasonable thing you can do with a company like Palantir is to nationalize them under the Defense Production Act, integrate their employees into the DoD, and cancel all executive pay packages.
I also think you should blacklist the entire executive board from ever getting another government contract, but we have a proud tradition in the US of letting our rich people fester until they can threaten democracy again.

Yeah, totally creepy weirdos. Musk will never be relatable. 14 kids four women. Is that a goal? Used DOGE to spy on you and cut off aid to millions of people. Resulting in death and suffering. Awesome. If you support Musk, I assume you don’t care about your own children.
