  1. GOP: “We also want to take away the citizenship of anyone whose skin color we dislike. We just won’t say that part out loud.”

  2. GOP just wanna be dickheads for the sake of being dickheads. I don’t see what benefit this has to anyone at all.

The phrase “naturalized citizen” is starting to feel a lot more like “citizen on a leash.” If the government can just hit CTRL+Z on your status decades later, are you ever actually a peer to someone born here? This is going to create a permanent second class of Americans.

  4. Tried to take away birthright citizenship; now this. So, in order to be an American citizen, you can’t be born here or elsewhere?

Since no one seems to have read it:
    >It’s not clear why the Justice Department has singled out the roughly 300 foreign-born Americans. The New York Times first reported the tally.

    >The Justice Department had already told attorneys to focus on denaturalization cases, and it has offered possible case examples, from “individuals who pose a risk to national security” or have engaged in war crimes or torture, to people who have committed Medicaid or Medicare fraud or have otherwise defrauded the government.

    >Roughly 800,000 people become naturalized citizens every year, according to Homeland Security.

So it seems pretty clear this is only just beginning and they’re still just testing the waters, where they started slower but are now ramping up to less egregious cases… could be a very slippery slope if this doesn’t get attention, I worry they’ll just keep pushing the envelope until next thing you know god forbid someone plugs in a DOGE database and wham you have thousands or more getting auto-denaturalized for a typo or even just total bullshit like how ICE is just allowed to lie in court now

  6. “today is a great day in America. We shoot ourselves in not just one but both feet.”

  7. Every day, and every week, we have billionaires who are running the country asking themselves one question… “how can we hurt the American people more than they’re hurting now?”

It’s both remarkable and astonishing that these people are singularly focused on both enriching themselves and finding ways to harm other people.

If there were a word to describe it this mindset it would be diabolical.

  8. I hope the news interviews them and asks them how they voted since becoming citizens.
