The executive order calls on the task force to investigate a range of threats including cybersecurity attacks, voter intimidation and disinformation. But its language is quite clear that it includes federal overreach as a threat as well.
“Experts agree that elections are most secure when administered by decentralized state and local officials,” reads the executive order, “and any attempt to federalize control over elections undermines both the security of our democratic process and the constitutional separation of powers that has safeguarded our Republic for over 250 years.””

This can’t be allowed to be a one time thing. This must be a foundation that other states build off on. It’s imperative we make sure every election is free and fair.

Every state needs to be doing this, regardless of whether they lean left/blue or right/red. Its not just the next election, but the next few elections when things flip around whichever way.

I would also suggest that they start putting it in writing that “pursuant to the guidelines enshrined in the Constitution, Donald Trump shall not appear on any future presidential election ballot in this state, primary or general”. Just to head them off at the pass
