Why does the president need a 400 million dollar taxpayer funded ballroom to feel safe?

Good, why should any president have the right or ability to destroy public property.

Neglecting your own security and then claiming a ballroom will make you safer is a bit of an impressive spin.

Oh is it 400 now? Started at 200 and went up to 300, I guess I missed the jump to $400 million. I can’t wait until the day I get to see the finished $600 million ballroom, which will be the best $750 million the US government has ever spent.

Golf courses are less secure. NO MORE presidential golf.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

But he worked really hard on that staged “attempt on his life”!

This proposed ballroom wouldn’t have hosted the WHCD anyway. It’s not a White House event to begin with. Trying to tie the two things together is some bullshit

It is illegal for Trump to construct something without congressional authorization. Full stop.
It doesn’t even matter that:
* The dinner was a private event
* Security worked exactly as intended
* The assailant got no where near any of his targets
* The ballroom wouldn’t even be big enough to host the dinner
Even if all of these things weren’t true, construction would still be an illegal act.

A new ballroom wouldn’t even be the venue of the WHCD. It’s a private event despite its name. Not ever gonna get held at the WH or any other PUBLICLY OWNED spaces. Chump doesn’t think the WH is publicly owned. He’s an idiot. Completely tainted all recognition of Americans. Lame af. I say we rebrand America. Let the WH be a museum. A relic of the entity we use to be.

Why would anyone give a shit what Trump’s DOJ says about Trump’s Ballroom?
No shit that corrupt department is going to advocate for this bullshit project
Trump wants to turn the white house into a country club for some weird ass reason. That’s it.

Ah yes, the DOJ defending the rich and powerful from pesky things like the law. Shocking stuff.

why would they?
Depending who you ask on reddit, Security either did it’s job or it didn’t, but Trump was never in any danger.

The White House Correspondents Dinner is **not** a White House event! Even if the ballroom was already built, it would not have hosted this. FFS.

Come on guys, how many fake assassinations does a pedo needs to do to get his fuhrer bunker?

Here we are struggling to afford literally anything. While his biggest concern is where to host parties, if its an official visit just use one of the many rooms in the Whitehouse like they’ve done for forever
