I mean, the point was to set, at the federal level, which forms of power qualify as more efficient, not that we will all use a single solution. Electrification timelines and ambition should sit with state and local government if that’s what their people want. For example, not allow burning of wood in a public building makes sense. Moving towards heat pumps should make sense as well vs burning up gas to heat.
