Bamboo-based plastic can be made to biodegrade quickly, but still holds up in tough conditions

Bamboo is fast growing and can help sequester carbon from the air. If this product where to be adopted the carbon sequestering would be lost once they start to clear cut old growth forests in order to grow more bamboo. Just like is done for soya beans, sugar, palm oil, etc…

If all single use Plastics were made illegal around the planet, perhaps it might help to spur more Innovation like this?
