As a vaguely left American, I think its actually good that the world is more multipolar. But I am 100% sure that Republicans will claim this multipolarity they have actively pursued by policy and action is exactly what they will pretend to hate within 5 years.

There are corporations that bribe politicians to push for war etc so they can sell missiles and planes etc.

The US economy is based on creating narrow monopolies to be inhabited by toll keepers who effectively pay rent to goverment. This is actually close to pre capitalism, where the king granted monopolies in exchange for payment. You can find warnings in Adam Smiths work about this kind of favoritism.
So US weapons have become massively expensive while production dwindled specifically because that satisfies the criteria it was built on.

Ammo is a really broad set of categories. Which kind of ammo are we discussing?
Small arms? Artillery? A2A missiles? A2G? SAMs? Ballistics? Cruise missiles and if so which kind?
You can’t just say Germany makes more ammo without being very specific about what you are discussing.

This is good, but “arms production could replace about a third of jobs in Germany’s automotive industry, which is facing cuts.” is a bit tricky. A global demand for arms then becomes one of the main the driver for Germanys growth. Wonder how this will change EU politics and positioning. I suppose its just same as it ever was in the grand scheme of things for non EU/non US nations.
