Tobacco companies should be pro-smuggling, many of the cigarettes imported are their brands just based on in other countries so they benefit financially from sales while paying no taxes to the Australian government.
Anyway companies like PMI have innovated into other product categories like flavoured nicotine pouches and vapes.
