Meaning one of the people taken off the ship after it docked in the canary islands? If so, that is new because everyone aboard had no symptoms on Friday

So what happened?

There was zero chance not one of those 150 elderly passengers had a fever or flu-like symptoms, hantavirus or not. Yet we were told everyone aboard the ship was 100% healthy. Whelp.

Are we gonna see the same thing in Canada too once the Canadian passengers on that ship land here???

They had time to make a vaccine the Hantavirus in Argentina wasn’t invented this year, outbreaks have happened since a long time, one of the biggest ones was in 2019 in Epuyén.
But of course, before COVID, so no one cared.
Next time act faster, don’t wait until other people outside the country get contagious! And I say this as someone who lives in Argentina and played Plague Inc.

Yeah, just send them all over the fucking world. Why not. Its not like we’ve just had a fucking pandemic in the last decade or anything…

This could’ve been contained so fricking easily. Like, one of the easiest ever. They were on a damn cruise ship, for god’s sake. I cannot believe they’re fumbling the bag, here.
Literally how pandemics start.

What I find fascinating about this is with COVID, no amount of risk was justifiable. Now with this one, the attitude is “we’re sure it’ll be fine” seems strange?
I am pretty sure it will be fine but, it’s hard not to have flashbacks to “well the science changed, based on what we know now”…
I think we could have just stuck all these people on Epstein Island for a few months. It’s least some good might come outta that place for once.

People do get the cold or allergies. If 1 of the 150 had symptoms, I am not worried. Ok, I’m still a bit worried
