If the speech is up there with the likes of Churchill, Dr King, Kennedy or Mandela he might pull it off if not he may struggle. We shall see how it all plays out soon enough.

It doesn’t matter what he says, the hard left Labour MPs have their knives out. It’s very Julius Caesar where as many of them stab him in the back as possible, so no one of them can be blamed.

Despite the fact he is demonstrably a horrid piece of shit, the terrifying part is there is no one better to replace him thats in the running. Could even the biggest labour supporter imagine gobshite Rayner standing for Britain on the world stage? A woman with more kids than GCSEs sacked for tax avoidance. Fucking mental.

  4. His speech is not great. He sounds condescending and he’s doing weird voices, he doesn’t sound believable at all.

Has this guy ever been able to do a speech without autocue or constantly looking down at notes?

What a champion of the working class.

  7. Personal anecdotes work better when they don’t come in extremely rehearsed and choreographed speeches, where they aren’t wedged between vague policy lip service.

If he was going for the emotional angle, he’d be better off mentioning real people in his constituents, and UK citizens he’s spoken to.

I’ve still not heard one piece of truth come out of his mouth since he took office
