This headline is selling it short.
This guy was rank 1 in national exam for university (number 1 out of hundreds of thousands, so go figure). Basically a genius. And people like him get automatic invitation to study and work abroad but he refused to immigrate and wanted to work for his country.
Not saying his life was more valuable than others who were executed. Just pointing out the type of people this regime is murdering. They are not thugs. They’re just normal smart people who want a normal life.
