Wasn’t much of a point to start it either, except to do the absolute worst move possible to address the torn up nuclear deal the idiot tore up in his first term.

  2. From the article:

The Chinese Foreign Ministry said Friday that there is “no point” for the U.S. conflict with Iran to continue, as Trump claimed he reached agreement with President Xi Jinping on key issues in the war, such as reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

“There is no point in continuing this conflict which should not have happened in the first place,” a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.

China wants the strait of Hormuz open so they can have their oil.

China also wants the US to expend its inventory of missile and missile interceptors on Iran so they won’t be able to supply Taiwan.

  4. Yeah there is. Before the war Iran didn’t fully appreciate how easy it would be to control the strait, and obviously didn’t want to start a full-on kinetic war with the countries on the other side of it. Now they effectively control it indefinitely if things are left as they are. Before the war the Iranian government only had 20% favourability, but the US kicked the beehive something fierce, they’re re-entrenched and the country as a whole is more radicalized now.

Only a complete sucker would bet the tools in Washington running their entire government off Chat gpt hallucinations have the capability of fixing that, but that’s not the same as saying there’s no *point* in continuing it**.**

Now Taiwan on the other hand, there’s an issue the Chinese government should have dropped decades ago.

There was no point to start the war. Obama has it under control but dump was a moron.

Xi tells him to take his boats and go home and the strait will be open.

  7. Hormuz remains closed

Iran will not give up nuclear material even when when faced with the prospect of the end of their country.

US and most of the region is adamant that Iran give up its nuclear material

Iran now insisting on sovereignty over Hormuz

I don’t see any way this resolves

  8. Well should not of even started it. Even if a great emergency reason we went about attacking Iran all wrong.. we wasted so much ammo on the wrong targets and it didn’t solve anything they still functioned fine until both blockades by them and us started..

Diplomatic translation: ‘This conflict is starting to seriously disrupt our supply of heavily discounted oil.

Wow after reading that article I’m shocked. It seems like China is very willing to help the US here in ending this conflict even if there are no formal agreements. I would have expected China to have way more leverage. Let’s see what happens

  11. Asian countries depending on Hormuz have to put pressure on US to stop or reach an agreement and only China has enough pull to do that

  12. Trump’s trip to china was to beg them for help to end the iran conflict. The ceos that tagged along was to provide cover of such begging behind economic talks. China played trump like aways. They will attack taiwan before trump is out of office.

Surprise! China kicking American president in the ass for stupid war.

There was no point in *starting* the war. China’s just reaping the soft power wins from the US’s intentional self-sabotage.

Soooo that means the US and Israel will stop their illegal war with Iran right?? And the US will move their naval fleet out of the Strait of Hormuz right?? Oh right….. 🤣🤡

  16. There was no point to starting it either, yet here we are. I hate my country… sigh

  17. So, basically God Emperor Pooh Bear told Big Mac the Hutt to stop fucking around or things would get worse for him.

  18. Spoken like someone whose name isn’t on almost every page of the trump-epstein documents.

  19. People saying there was no point to the Iran war probably don’t understand there were underlying reasons that were likely caused by Trump wanting to take Taiwan. Assuming this was a way to show they can cripple us and our allies via proxy all while maintaining face. “Regime change” was probably just saying US control & political alignment over Iran over China to control the strait. Which failed, negotiations were probably with China behind the scenes. Mostly caused by really bad geopolitics from the Trump admin.

Get over it Iran is now focussing on building nukes.. no choice due to Trumps actions and lying.

Next time USA will get a different response.
This is pure Trumps fault… USA is digging a deeper shit house every day as far as the rest of the world is concerned.
