The pan european missile concept is doomed because there are a few countries that make their own missiles already, I have no issues with France buying some stuff we wouldn’t have from Ukraine, but if it’s about missiles, this is not something we should need help with. The cost which is the main issue, is massively driven by inefficient production lines but the sector is mutating toward less of that under the impulse of the government, this is something that needs to be addressed locally and not ignored with a foreign workaround because it’s a critical flaw in war time.

There are plenty of systems that uses an array of European bricks, it’s a stretch to call that revolutionary.

It’s always great to see Ukraine getting new defense means ofc.

European arms producers will most likely standardise and cooperate more to get economy of scale and an efficient supply chain. I am sure Ukraine’s contribution will be important as they have recent experience, fast innovation and battle field success. I get the feeling that focus for traditional producers has been great margins in peace time, not efficiency and affordability in war time. This might change.
