Hard to call it escalation when Russia has spent years making Ukrainian cities live under air raid alerts. This is just the war coming home
Its hard not to be impressed by how innovative and resilient Ukraine has been militarily despite fighting against a much larger country for years now.
The fact Ukraine is still capable of carrying out sophisticated strikes deep behind Russian lines says a lot about how much modern warfare has changed and how determined Ukrainians are to keep resisting instead of simply accepting occupation or defeat.
It’s quite remarkable that the shrapnel that fell onto these targets contained working cameras!
