  1. Am expecting a lot of arrests for very clear cut offences. Otherwise the PM might need to explain why he’s got 4000 police officers attending, has freed up prison spaces, made emergency court placements available, released a video and written message condemning the entire protest as far right and has banned multiple speakers from attending.

Honestly cannot remember an initial government response to a protest ever front loading costs to the taxpayer like this, or being this heavy handed.

Waving the variation of the Iranian flag is just whitewashing, covering up a(nother) rightwing fiasco.

I don’t know precisely what some Trump supporters say to defend him, something like “nothing happened” in response to (justified) concerns about him. Well, can these brave people continue saying that with regards to the Strait of Hormuz? I’m not seeing a(nother) rightwing fuckup being resolved.

I find the focus on cost a bit of a disappointing effort to dampen support for protest. It’s the cost of democracy.

What possessed the relevant authorities, that they permitted an EDL march on the day of Cup Final and the annual Nakba Day march (they’ve been held in London for over 15 years, usually trouble free)

  5. This post gets 9 upvotes, yet posts condemning Farage get thousands of upvotes.

This subreddit is ridiculously left-wing, it’s so blatantly obvious.

Nothing say’s “unite the kingdom” quite like lining the pockets of a convicted fraudster and thug.

It’s really sad that the UK has got to this point of so much division and hate. The problem is that people have fallen into the propaganda trap spread by the likes of Farage and Robinson. I think society dismisses working class or less academically educated people as ‘far right’ too quickly, instead of trying to understand why they feel frustrated, unheard, or anxious about certain issues. Starmer also needs to take responsibility for the division.

Unite the Kingdom match photos are interesting. Union Jack is expected. St George’s Cross unsurprising. St Andrew’s Cross makes sense. Union Jack with the Prince of Wales’s Feathers is a bit odd considering the Welsh flag exists. However, the Irish Tricolour on display is a choice. No sign of the Red Hand of Ulster. Then some weird Iranian flag?

I confuse easily, but that’s an incoherent mix of flags (or flegs, if you wish).

Reddit is normally so passionate about the right to protest. Apparently only about certain things!

  10. Shouldn’t the Reform lads be out looking for UFOs around Doncaster instead?

Footy Fans, Far-Right Loons, and Pro-Palis all in one day? The trifecta of simpletons have assembled.

  12. For some reason I thought Ant Middleton was half of Ant and Dec. I was confused, and not a little disturbed, until I checked.

Cant help but feeling life is too short to be marching. It wont actually change anything

Just enjoy your time on earth, rather than being angry
