  1. The energy transition started earlier. The wars in Ukraine and Iran only accelerated it significantly.

I’m purchasing a Rivian R2. I would have had an r1s but I didn’t have enough money when it was released as I had just bought a home. These vehicles are right for me because frankly they’re electric boxes with cargo storage for skis, and high enough off the ground for my bike rack.

It cost me $104 to commute 4 days last week. We’re looking at motor oil shortages.

You have to be pretty dumb to not see the benefit in electric for your own wallet.

    It will NOT.

Oil and Fossil Fuels are easy to control. And the rich make so much off of them they do not mind banning renewable energy, raising fees on EV, and spreading as much misinformation as they need.

Their worst fear is a neighborhood putting up solar panels and not paying a monopoly for for gas and electric.

  4. At a systemic level, this shift toward renewables actually started months ago as things got unstable. It’s just like if you can’t find food at your favorite store, you’ll look elsewhere or else you’ll go hungry. People and countries are moving on from oil because they have to, this war is a blessing in disguise for accelerating the move to cleaner energy, but I just hope it picks up its pace.
