FYI, nowhere in this article did I see an American official use the phrase in the headline.

This seems more routine than the post headline here on Reddit would seem to imply.  I don’t like seeing any expanded US presence in this country but it doesn’t appear to be some aggressive push; they still need our permission and cooperation to go ahead with this.

  2. More American bullshit shenanigans trying to undermine Canadian sovereignty. They’re manufacturing a non-existent crisis to justify having their law enforcement here.

  3. So the US wants to open foreign “police stations” in Canada. This somehow seems familiar.

  4. Yea, we’re right crafty when we’re left the F alone ! Ha ha keep your shite south of the border boys, thanks 🇨🇦

    Also..

    >The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) **currently operates two offices in Canada** (Ottawa and Vancouver) and plans to add two more by 2027 to combat transnational fentanyl and precursor trafficking. The agency coordinates international drug investigations between U.S. and Canadian law enforcement.

Lmao American DEA offices will go over just like Dunkin donuts trying to get into Canada. We will actively boycott both, and they wont last.

I wont pull over for USADEA. Fudge the USA government. I love the people. Not the government

It almost seems like it would be cheaper to take care of the mental health issues in society rather than create a global police apparatus expected to inspect every atom of material that passes around the world, hoping to find any substances that may or may not be used to make illegal drugs.

  8. Maybe they can set up south of the boarder and track U.S. guns coming into Canada instead.

I was down south for work. There is a prevailing opinion by some that Indians from Canada were jumping the border on mass. I expect further punitive actions from the Americans.

They will operate clandestine signal intelligence operations from these locations.

A firm no is what is required.

I welcome the news. They’ve given us so many warnings to clean up house but we’re so incompetent at achieving anything with Carney so I say let the big boys take care of our business. Maybe Carney will have a MOU on the situation!!!!!! 😆

I mean if we already have Chinese police stations why not American DEA? Hell I’m suprised we don’t have Indian police stations yet.

We need more law enforcement anyways. As someone who would never be in the DEA crosshairs I’m all for less drugs circulating. Just a little embarrassing we can’t do it ourselves because our justice system is full of bleeding heart cowards.

I don’t think we should allow the us to open police stations in canada.
