And eventually those of us on the lower side of it will be removed permanently, as we have no use to the others.

  2. The stock market is just a gauge of the level of confidence that rich people have about being able to extract money from the U.S. economy.

Don’t worry my President, Donald J. Trump, knows what he is doing. He has been anointed by God to lead our nation and defeat the forces of evil that are trying to tear us down. He is playing five dimensional chess and has the U.S., Iran, and the world exactly where he wants them.

Gas prices will soon be .99 cents a gallon, factories will be rebuilt and exploding with jobs paying $70 an hour, a critical White House 10,000 person ballroom will built, an arch honoring the greatness of Trump reaching 100,000 feet above DC, the biggest and best ever, will be built and Greenland, Venezuela and Cuba will become the 51st, 52nd and 53rd states, though none of their residents will be allowed to travel to the mainland U.S., well except for maybe the white, straight, Christian, English speaking ones from Greenland.

You just have to trust my President, Donald J. Trump, and his magical process. Thank you for your attention in this matter! /S

Worst wealth inequality in American history. The wealthy no longer have to pay taxes or pay labor a fair wage. The wealthy own the stocks, the real-eatate, the healthcare system, and almost everything else.

Well yeah, I had to take all my money out the stock market to afford going back to college since my old field is worthless now.

The stock market is not the economy! It’s just a bunch of people who freak out and cause companies to gain or lose value based on “feelings”

  7. Thanks to Reagan and American politicians after him!!! Don’t you love this trickle down?!?

  8. Reminder the stock market was at an all time high before the great depression. The stock market has nothing to do with every day people, it’s just gambling. And the fact that we have retirement funds to tied up in stocks is a scam to make sure it’s always propped up and bailed out by the government.

This statement and statistic should be echoing in every politicians head.
“the top 10% of earners in the US now account for nearly half of all consumer spending, while **the bottom 80% of earners now account for less than 40% of all consumer spending**.”

Nobody likes to say this out loud but income inequality is great for the stock market. More money in the hands of the ~~investor~~ Epstien class means more money flowing into the market because, come on, they can only eat so much lobster and they have to put it somewhere.

Fuck the stock market. I seriously have a problem understanding what the fuck it even means anymore. Now it seems there is an inverse relationship between the stock market and how well middle and lower class people are doing financially. The higher it goes only seems to be pertinent if you’re in bed with the dictator in chief or ultra wealthy.

All of it is just a fucking game, dictator clearly has a stranglehold on it and is robbing us blind.

  12. The stock market is high because the wealthy are just trading their money back and forth with each other to avoid helping the rest of us.

My Republican father has been yelling about climate change being a nefarious plot to redistribute wealth for a decade, but this is totally cool with him.

  14. Well, I can’t feed my children with stock markets.

I can’t fuel my car with stocks either

So what happens when this shenanigans collapses the dollar?

And why would another country let billionaires in after destroying the largest economy?

Like, I get not seeing past the next quarter but what’s the long game there?

I get they want a techno-company town, I just don’t see that happening like they think it would.

  16. They sure do have us 99% fighting with each other though.

We ought to do something to fix that.

  17. Stock market only shows how good corporations are at abusing the poor. It’s not an indicator of the American public as a whole.

  18. Its funny how those top % have managed to make us all hate each other and vote against our best interest though isn’t it?

It’s grown to be the biggest pyramid scheme in the history of mankind

  20. > even as the stock market

Nobody cares. Its not a reliable indicator of anything. Line goes up wealthy people get money. Line go down main street loses their jobs and savings and homes.
