  1. (From the article): “At the same time, Senate Republicans refused to hand over the money for the “ballroom” project, and House Republicans cancelled a vote on a resolution on the war in Iran (remember that?). GOP lawmakers are said to bitterly resent Trump’s mafia-style approach to disposing of his perceived enemies.

So, finally, the unthinkable happened. The Senate refused Trump his money. On Thursday, they closed up shop and went home.”

(Personal Commentary): Something I think the article is missing that is important is that the Republican politicians in control of Congress…it’s not just that they said no to Trump. *It’s that the GOP leadership had to put Congress on recess or they’d lose control of their party*. And once that happens to this extent, it emboldens people within the GOP who were scared of speaking out against Trump. Ted Cruz said a few days ago that Republican politicians were *screaming* at Todd Blanche over Trump’s slush fund.

We’ve all known that Trump is a mentally unstable bully for years.

Republican leaders showed themselves to be cowardly politicans in embracing him. They deserve our condemnation and scorn.

Republican voters showed themselves to be fools by electing such an awful President. They are responsible for destroying this country and should be ashamed for what they’ve done.

Mitch McConnel, with all of his past power, could have just stopped this whole damn thing years ago.

Every 15 minutes there is another article about how people are FINALLY starting to see through Trump but he is unstable or mentally deficient or weak or old. Like I’ve been reading this garbage for years and he’s only gotten more powerful and more dug in.

    It’s always been cope.

I’ll believe that when actually comes to fruition. So far it’s just some mild mumbling but no one apparently has the balls to do anything. I feel confident Donald J. Trump will overtake Benedect Arnold as this country’s most infamous traitor.

Trump is only tough when he has Secret Service backing him or if he is yelling at women and children.

Let’s see some actual consequences more than just a little ruffle of feathers before we cheer. They’ve constantly crumpled back into line every time before.

  8. Why are Democrats not pushing impeachment articles for just- pick anything Trump has done in the last week? Demanding immunity from investigations of his fraud… this would make Republicans either support Trumps coming out impeach him for it.

And you know that of the $1.776 billion “settlement” of the case where he sued himself for $10 billion, he will hand out a few high profile rewards to the less offensive media friendly offenders, then he will throw up other smokescreens to distract everybody from the fact he will award himself the rest of the money.

    21st Century Americans are cowards.

Two hours every three months marching with a placard that says “no kings” is laughable.

There is zero accountability because no one is forcing it.

No it hasn’t. It only seems that way to the people who never bought the bullshit in the first place.

I’ll believe it when I see Republicans actually agree to remove him from power and then he’s actually removed from power.

No it hasn’t. This has been said for years now. I don’t fall for it anymore

  14. These people aren’t under a spell. They’re malicious idiots who craved a way to be who they always were. If you think that someone changed because of Trump, they just took off their mask.
