  1. I thought it was over, then not over, then near a deal, then were blowing them to smithereens, then nearly over, and now???

This is just too much winning.

  2. He totally faked a deal to get out of going to his kid’s wedding, didn’t he?

  3. callsonreddit on

He’s said this multiple times but this was in fact said today on May 24 PST

    Article:

    >US President Donald Trump said Sunday that he had instructed his negotiators not to rush into a deal with Iran, saying “time is on our side” and that the US blockade would remain “in full force and effect” until an agreement is “reached, certified, and signed,” as talks between Washington and Tehran appeared to advance.

    >In a Truth Social post, Trump framed the emerging negotiations as a tougher alternative to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal reached under former president Barack Obama, calling that agreement “one of the worst deals ever made” by the United States. He said the current talks were “proceeding in an orderly and constructive manner,” but warned that “there can be no mistakes” and that Iran must understand it cannot develop or obtain a “Nuclear Weapon or Bomb.”

“We’ll keep the Strait of Hormuz closed until Iran agrees to open the Strait of Hormuz and gives us all the nuclear stuff that I said I obliterated months ago.”

I’m so sick of the sane washing of his communications. This is what he said:

    >One of the worst deals ever made by our Country was the Iran Nuclear Deal, put forth and signed into existence by Barack Hussein Obama and the rank amateurs of the Obama Administration. It was a direct path to Iran developing a Nuclear Weapon. Not so with the transaction currently being negotiated with Iran by the Trump Administration – THE EXACT OPPOSITE, in fact! The negotiations are proceeding in an orderly and constructive manner, and I have informed my representatives not to rush into a deal in that time is on our side. The Blockade will remain in full force and effect until an agreement is reached, certified, and signed. Both sides must take their time and get it right. There can be no mistakes! Our relationship with Iran is becoming a much more professional and productive one. They must understand, however, that they cannot develop or procure a Nuclear Weapon or Bomb. I would like to thank, thus far, all of the countries of the Middle East for their support and cooperation, which will be further enhanced and strengthened by their joining the Nations of the historic Abraham Accords and, who knows, perhaps the Islamic Republic of Iran would like to join, as well! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP

It’s important to remember that you could have written a more coherent statement in the 6th grade.

    Iran deal “Largely negotiated”

“Good news” on strait of Hormuz within hours, says Rubio

US “won’t rush into deal” with Iran

These are three headlines from Sky News over the last few hours alone. Why anyone is bothering to report these lies is beyond me.

  7. Any-Following6236 on

Enough of this. There won’t be a deal. Bibi controls puppet Trump and he doesn’t want war to end.

  8. vossmanspal on

Trump isn’t blocking Hormuz, Iran is, in his mind he believes he is though. At this stage he just looks a tit to the rest of the world, zero credibility. All this winning has fried his peanut brain.

  9. BGID_to_the_moon on

Trump isn’t ending the blockade? Wasn’t mutual opening of Hormuz the entire basis of this cease fire extension?

  10. This is so fucked up. What about his long ass tweet saying everything is over yesterday??????

  11. Everyone needs to prepare and expect this bull@#$&! to continue until Diaper Donnie is removed from office. He’s too incompetent to expect anything else.

  12. Also his buddies in the oil industry don’t want him to make a deal soon as they are currently shuffling our money into their pockets.

  13. My wish is for Trump to go fuck himself as well as all of his supporters.

  14. I’m learning so much about the Art of the Deal here. A real MasterClass

Wait “open the fuckin’ straight, you crazy bastards” didn’t work?

  16. Trump translator here, he is saying:
    – “US in a rush to sign deal. We want the Hormuz blockade over ASAP. Please hurry up.”

  17. JobTight8252 on

There is no deal, never was, he just needed the optics for his fan base so he can turn around and tell them that Iran keeps failing to live up to their side of the deal.

They need pretext for what comes next, invasion. Many will die and the world will be no better for it.

There’s a reason Bush, Obama and Biden all refused Netanyahu’s requests for the US to take out Iran for him. And this is it.

Trump actually thought all it would take to bring Iran to its knees is a couple days of bombing. He watched a lot of other US presidents carry out (mostly) successful military campaigns like it was a walk in the park and came away with the idea that dropping bombs on people willy nilly is all it takes to reach your objective. Iran is a different breed of animal though and will never bend to the US or Israel if there’s breath left in their bodies.

Any advisor not a sychophant to him would have advised him this whole plan (if you can call it that) was folly but those people are not around anymore and even if they were they’d have been fired the next day.

DJT is nowhere near smart enough to participate in world politics, does not learn from his mistakes and is speedrunning America right into the ground because of it.

Oh so it is a blockade. There was a Trump lawyer trying to argue that a “blockade could mean many things” the other day

Hasn’t this conflict been resolved and then restarted 20-30 times in just the last 60 days?

I’m so glad that young men and women and children were maimed and died for this. Truly the greatest President in history! He’s done such a good job, he should pay himself $1.7 billion dollars!

Trump only rushes into problems; then panics trying to find a way out.

Dude, they just said it was almost negotiated and then less than a day they say they got nothing. 100% market manipulation
