The whole reason that so many ex-(temporarily)soviet nations joined NATO after the USSR fell apart was because that they wanted to never again fall under Russian invasion and oppression, yet Putin & his Kremlin sycophants keep on pressing the bogus narrative of ‘NATO’s eastward expansion’ and this is parroted by many Russia.
