I mean there’s a non-0 chance of civil war in the US in the next 10 years or so, so there’s obviously a great market potential for defence related industry.

We can’t really compete with America’s trillion dollar defence budgets, nor should we.

Let me ask you one question, is your money that good?

Will it buy you forgivenes? Do you think that it could?

I think you will find, when your death takes its toll

All the money you made will never buy back your soul

And I hope that you die and your death will come soon

I’ll follow your casket by the pale afternoon

And I’ll watch while you’re lowered down to your deathbed

And I’ll stand over your grave ’til I’m sure that you’re dead.

To be fair the equipment uk defence companies produce is absolute shit and never works properly anyway so we are better off buying from overseas.

These companies try to sell to the US military and they will laugh them out of the room.

We need to invest in open source weapon systems. Look at Ukraine, soldiers are constantly modifying their equipment whether it’s Radios, Drones, jammers or small arms. Defence companies are so adamant to defend their IP that they can’t compete with the scale of development that is happening
