I think these heaps start as one or two items that are left there a while, then the next moron thinks ‘ah i can add my junk to the pile’ and it grows.
I used to live on the Ascot Vale public housing estate and there was a hard rubbish service for tenants. People from outside the estate, driving BMWs and Mercedes, would drive up and dump old broken furniture etc.
Once saw one dump a broken bed frame on the road.

Check your council, if they don’t have a hard rubbish day usually you can book a hard rubbish collection.

We need severe punishments for rubbish dumping. Jail time. Multiple years. It is a big problem.

God it looks like someone upended a house there… was someone evicted near there recently? I’ve seen landlords do this, and the stuff is still there more than 2y later

This is a miserable picture. If this was a house I would be super pissed but it feels like a picture of the front of units, which still sucks but makes more sense.

I used to work for a business that was contracted to clean up stuff like this. This happens when a housing commission property is suddenly vacated, such as the tenants fleeing for whatever reason, and they leave all of their stuff behind. As soon as their stuff gets dragged out onto the street it becomes someone else’s problem.

People suck.
These are the same people that drive out to national forests and dump their rubbish so they don’t have to pay tip fees.
