Even if Burnham wins, Labour will continue losing valuable activists within the party when they realise that he is just another empty suit Starmer with a northern accent.

    > Associated with Labour Friends of Israel, so won’t do anything to end our complicity in genocide

    > Has backed off his previous pro-trans stance to support segregation that will endanger all women

    > Has not indicated that he will do anything useful to end austerity economics and redistribute the wealth

    > Backing away from his previous support of nationalising water

What he did with public transport in Manchester was admirable and should be replicated across the country, of course.

Other than that though, he has no vision and no principles. Which is exactly why he was chosen and accepted as the “continuity candidate” by Labour and the press.

  2. I find so many of the Labour backbenchers (on left and right) to be little more than petulant opportunists.

So the entire country goes populist left (idiots) or populist right (idiots) sigh

Starmer, when he started purging left-wing members of the Party: “If you don’t like it, just leave.”

Also Starmer barely a few years later: “FUCK NO, PLEASE DON’T LEAVE.”

  5. I think this is more unlikely given that Green party support is now stagnant or trending downwards:

And Polanski is now one of the more unpopular leaders, that’s probably reflecting public responses to his interventions over the police reactions to the Golders Green stabbing, the council tax avoidance, and the other walter mitty type revelations about his cv.

We now have five main parties in England and only the Greens havent given tacit support for a Republican-style view of trans people

Pretty great that between Labour & Greens constant infighting all they’re doing is looking incompetent whilst Reform sits quietly in the corner.

Fucking politicians man, wish they’d get it together.

Good. Fuck the disruptive idiots off to the Greens and let the grown ups get on with running the country.

It’s not like I have any strong beliefs on what this country needs. I just want my seat in parliament. Tell me which party you like, and I’ll join that one.

The Labour party seems to be comprised entirely of people who never grew out of their grade school cliques.
