Give the peasants a few hundred dollars of borrowed money and totally ignore income levels. It’s like when free trade was being propagandized to us as being able to save 10% on imported products but they didn’t mention it would cost us 50% of our incomes.

I hope BC and ON follow suit.

The estimates have it saving around 50$ per year for the average person. This is an unpopular party, on track to get destroyed at this fall elections, trying to save face with anouncements while actually doing nothing.

Think about how much more money we could have in the market if there wasn’t a need to nickel and dime tax payers at every opportunity. Personally I’d be more amenable to a higher base tax versus taxes on everything I do or buy.
