    The clause should be constrained by the will of the people of the province, expressed either through a referendum or a general election. It shouldn’t be left to the whim of the provincial government of the moment.

    Not a chance in hell the federal liberals will stop quebec from using section 33 as they need quebec to win elections….

    The bloc will say it’s an attack on quebec and libs be reduced drastically outside mtl.

    So that wont ever happen

    Using disallowance against alberta and ontario but letting quebec be quebec wont work either.

    Perhaps carney could get away with it as he popular but it likely turn the provinces against the feds and unlike Trudeay, Carney ants to actually govern and fix stuff then play provincial federal political games.
