Removing the right for Parliament to intervene in a stroke might be good fodder for partisan bona fides but is very misguided policy. I can’t think of any country that has legislated itself out of the right to intervene in a misguided strike that would harm the national interest. Even France which protects the right to strike in its constitution reserves the right to call back essential workers on strikes.
