Hi all;

In my recent interview with the Executive Director of the Colorado Energy Office, he said that Wind + gas backup is cheaper than just gas.

So I did the math here and by my calculations no – Wind + gas is more expensive than just gas. Did I get anything wrong? Because Will (who stated it) is a smart guy and the head of the energy office. So I worry I missed something.

as always – thank you for any help/corrections.

    I stopped reading where it says “forget CO2 emissions”. Since, you know, CO2 emissions aren’t costless really.

    Completely missing so many variables and way off on the capex and opex. Have you ever worked in this sector?
