Here in Ontario or provincial government shut down the coal burning power plants about fifteen years ago. We don’t really get smog days anymore. The change in air quality has been wonderful.
Meanwhile the West is largely transitioning to a renewable+gas power system because it is dramatically cheaper and cleaner.
A fossil telling us to keep using fossil fuels. This older generation is taking us backwards with the only intent to grab whatever money they don’t already have.

lol when coal first became a revolutionary creation, but now a days with “natural” resources which means can only be found in nature which means eventually it will become scarce and then comes the inevitable fact of where will we get our energy. There are only so many options, and I can say this for a fact that most others countries are already heading into a direction where they will adopt new forms of energy.
