A Canadian company called Cordelio Power are trying to set up 47 wind turbines in Lake Odessa. They have already set up test towers a year ago without having a permit from the township and called this an “oversight”. They held a meeting Monday to try to get a permit from the township and were denied. Unfortunately due to a law that was passed recently they can bypass the township. Why would you wanna stop more wind turbines? (To play fair, I do agree there are some legit reason not to have it over say Solar panels), but they do provide a income for farmers for using a small amount of their land. More income for farmers, the more they can offset food or make a living.
Change.org should have the option for me to give an anti-signature to show my displeasure at this petition.
Gotta love NIMBYs.
